Play Workshop – Week 1: Creative Play at Home
These Zoom classes are specifically for parents/caregivers and their smallies or tallies.

We will have 2 sessions:
Session 1: 9.30am – 10.30am – (Ages up to 6)
Session 2: 11.30 – 12.30am – (Ages 6 – 12)
In these workshops Laura will help you with child friendly/sensory activities that are in keeping with the Aistear themes. Although we have all worked in Childcare, Laura is our specialist in the Childcare sector. She has an excellent working knowledge of all things play and is also a trained AIM Support Worker. Each week we will have a different theme which will help people with their child’s emerging interests.
Children of all ages and abilities are welcome, but the participation of the parent or caregiver will be required. Spaces are limited to 10 children per class.
Week 1: Creative Play at Home
This week (Monday 1st Feb – Friday 5th Feb) we will look at messy play and sensory play. We will make a range of items from playdough to edible paint and take you through the advantages of this type of play.
Monday 1st February: Taste Safe Paint
Tuesday 2nd February: Moonsand
Wednesday 3rd February: Dyed Rice
Thursday 4th February: Play Dough
Friday 5th February: Slime
Everything you need should be easily located in your home or will be cost effective on your normal weekly shopping list! A list of items you will need for each day will be emailed to you upon booking your workshop.
