We are helping to train the SMEs of Ireland!

The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC), in partnership with Eurochambres and the
European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (UEAPME), have come together to create a programme, ‘Consumer Law Ready’, specially designed for SMEs based in Europe.
Funded by the European Commission, the aim of this unique programme is to train SMEs on consumer rights legislation and inform them on how they can ensure their business is
compliant with EU and national consumer protection laws. This is done through local training sessions and online training resources which will soon be available on the Consumer Law Ready website.

As a national training organisation, Training Solutions Kilkenny, we are focused on
contributing to this project by providing useful and high quality resources.

We are hosting a Consumer Law Ready training event on the September 1st, 2021 live and online via Zoom.

This event will cover important topics such as:

● Pre-contractual information requirements

● Consumer Right of withdrawal

● Consumer rights and guarantees in case of non-conforming product

● Unfair commercial practices and unfair contract terms

● Alternative dispute resolution and online dispute resolution

By training your business on the topics above, you will be fully aware of all aspects of
consumer law which will help to improve customer service and increase consumer trust in
your business.

This will ensure that you avoid consumer complaints and costly litigation that
could have major repercussions for your company.
You can register to attend this event here or visit the Consumer Law Ready website at https://www.consumerlawready.eu
