  • Workshop 4 Understanding & Managing Challenging Behaviours, Part 1: Challenging Perspectives on Behaviour, Self-Care and Self-Reflective Practice

Only once we question our own beliefs and thought processes surrounding this will we master the art of avoiding, managing, and de-escalating challenging and/or crisis situations.

This workshop will challenge the participants in their thought processes as to what behaviour is. Specifically challenging behaviours and inappropriate behaviours. It will dig into why we feel the way we do about behaviour and teach us to become more self reflective in our practices.

It will equip you with some background knowledge in behaviour theories, which influence the way we act and the way our actions affect others.
