I had the absolute pleasure on Monday 6th December 2021 to be in the Community Radio Kilkenny City station with Roisin Ni Chleirigh on her Start Me Up Business Programme for a Radio Interview.
It was super exciting to be in the radio station – I had never been in one before.

Roisin was an absolute angel and knew just what questions to ask. She called me up before the interview to talk to me about what to expect once I was in the station so I wasn’t anxious, and she gave me some useful tips and tricks to make sure my sound was correct and not muffled.
We talked about autism and neurodiversity and trying to ensure that organisations are being inclusive in their hiring practices and workplace cultures. There are lots of ways we can help our neurodiverse population in gaining and retaining employment.
With over 80% of our neurodiverse individuals either un or under employed, we need to take steps to change this. Many of these amazing people have the talents we need to make our businesses thrive. But almost 70% of employers believe it would be too difficult to make those changes.
But it doesn’t have to be difficult. That’s where we come in!!!
We help companies and organisations, small or large, to become a TSK Approved Neurodiverse Affirmative organisation. We even provide a certificate for you to display on premises and on your socials and website.
