We have bad days and we have good days. Sometimes, the bad days go on for a while, sometimes it might only be a bad day for part of the day!
But that’s ok. It’s ok to not be ok. We were not designed to be happy all day, every day. It’s not human nature. Even the happiest of people get down sometimes.
What is important is that you recognise it. Note it mentally and move on from it.
Don’t allow the negative thoughts to settle in. Tell them, “thank you for calling by, but you may leave now”.
Take a breath. Close your eyes and breathe. Concentrate on your breathing and focus on this breath going in and out.
Aim to do this once a day for just 30 seconds to start off with. You can build it up to 2 minutes and even 20 minutes as and when you feel confident to do so.
Remember. It is perfectly ok to not be ok and you don’t need to apologise for that.
