I wanted to share some things with you today, which I thought were pretty cool and some valid reasons to be thankful for the world in which we live.
First of all, I woke up. That’s always a good start. My fiance woke up and everyone else in the house. For this, I am truly grateful.
My beautiful rottie was, as usual, super happy to see me, and we went for our morning walk.
And what did we see running down the road?
A hare! How wonderful is nature? It stopped to look at us a moment while I fumbled to get out my phone to take the picture..then it was gone, into the hedgerow.
After we got back, my lovely man said he would cook our breakfast.
We have the most adorable chickens, but sadly they’re not all laying eggs right now. So breakfast consisted of one of our own and one shop bought egg.
Well, it just amazes me the difference in colour. Our chickens egg is the darker one. Look at how rich and dark it is. 🙂 This is 100% free range organic chickens egg. Beautiful!
While I was working in my home office, I was brought a fruit bowl which my man had freshly prepared and then he helped later with the dinner and made meatballs.
Lastly, the moon. Yes, that big, beautiful round that lights up the night sky.
I look at it in awe. How amazing is nature and our earth? The sun, moon and stars….the whole universe.
We are so lucky to live in these amazing times. Even with the current worldwide health crisis.
In fact, now more than ever, is the time to take stock and be thankful for what we do have, rather than focusing on the negatives of this situation.
