Would you believe that these beautiful flowers (I think a type of daffodil, but perhaps a garden enthusiast could enlighten me), came from one bulb?
My little man, when he was in primary school brought home a sorry little single flower, and as I’m not particularly green fingered, it soon died on my kitchen windowsill..
Or so I thought!
Naturally, we had to bury said bulb in the garden…he was 7 and this is what happens to things when they die, right.
The year after, it flowered, and every year since. And what started as one flower, is now many.
6 years later, and this is what it looks like now. It brightens me up every time I see it.
Thank you Lucas for my mother’s day gift so many years ago 😍
