Mental health

So, my most recent adventure takes me on a mindfulness course. This is something I thought I was already practicing, but by the end of week one, I now realize that although I take many deep breaths when things are getting tough, I’m still not actually fully aware of my emotions or ready to let go!

Things still bother me hours, days, weeks and months after the event. I have begun to question why this is. Why do I hold onto those things that churn up my insides? Can I let go? How do I let go?

Hopefully, by the end of the course, I will be able to answer to those questions. Hopefully, I will come out a better person, better equipped to manage my emotions and leave the things behind that cause me distress.
