Forgiveness is a very powerful tool in our heart and minds. To forgive is to let go of what you cannot change. Let it go, move on and breathe. Do not let those negative emotions toward another eat you up inside. That person is not worth you feeling this way.
But don’t forget. What we forgive helps us to grow and learn. Learn from the pain, learn how you do not like to feel and make sure you do not make anyone else feel the way that person made you feel.
Just because you have forgiven a persons behaviour toward you does not mean they are back on your side, it does not mean they are welcome to hurt you again. It simply means you have let go of those negative emotions and moved on with your life.
Forgive, learn and remember in order to grow stronger and be positive about what you can change for the future.
